Club SciKidz is the best place under the sun for extraordinary summers! Established in 1997, owners Bob and Sue Hagan have created one of America’s finest summer science and technology camps. Bob and Sue have a combined 30 plus years of teaching experience and both hold a Master’s Degree in Education. Since 1997, more than 100,000 children have attended one or more of Club SciKidz’s science day camps or school programs across the country.
Meet the Owner of Hartford Franchise
Kavita (Kay) Nigam, franchise owner of Club SciKidz Hartford County , has been a resident of Avon, CT, for over 22 years, where she and her husband Shawn have raised their two children. Married for 31 years, Kay is passionate about the importance of early STEM education. With her husband and son working as computer engineers and her daughter pursuing a medical degree, STEM has been a cornerstone of her family’s success. Kay graduated from the University of Hartford with an MBA and firmly believes that introducing children to science, technology, engineering, and math at a young age can ignite a lifelong passion for learning and pave the way for future achievements.
Kay launched the Club SciKidz Hartford franchise in the fall of 2022, with the goal of offering fun, hands-on STEM experiences to the children of Hartford and the surrounding area. As both a mother and a dedicated advocate for education, she is excited to help students discover their potential through engaging and interactive learning opportunities.
