Course Description
Pokémon Professors: Explore the World of Pokémon through Hands-On Science!
Calling all young Pokémon Professors! Get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience at our Pokémon Science Adventure Camp. In this exciting camp, your child will not only “catch ’em all” but also apply scientific theories and conduct experiments inspired by the Pokémon universe. Through interactive activities, kids will get a unique opportunity to combine their love of Pokémon with real-world science!
Camp Overview:
At the Pokémon Science Adventure Camp, campers will explore the science behind their favorite Pokémon and engage in hands-on experiments that bring the Pokémon world to life. From understanding chemical reactions to investigating electricity like Pikachu, each day offers a new Pokémon-related adventure tied to fundamental science concepts.
Exciting Activities Include:
- Chemical Reaction Pokémon Hatching: Watch as your Pokémon “hatches” from an egg after a fun and educational chemical reaction experiment.
- Catapult Launching to Catch Pokémon: Campers will build and launch their own catapults in a fun activity that teaches physics and engineering, all while trying to “catch” their Pokémon targets.
- Exploring Pikachu’s Electricity: Dive into the world of electricity as campers explore the science behind Pikachu’s electric powers and learn about circuits and energy.
- Bug Pokémon and Real-Life Insects: Examine real insects and organisms that resemble the Bug-type Pokémon. Discover how these creatures live and survive in their natural environments.
- Ditto Slime & the States of Matter: Reflect on the three states of matter by creating Ditto-inspired slime, while learning about solids, liquids, and gases.
This camp is perfect for Pokémon fans who want to learn and play at the same time, blending the fun of Pokémon with key scientific principles. Not only will campers get to meet and learn about Pokémon, but they’ll also develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry skills through each activity.
There will be time to trade cards and, of course, earn them while participating in these fun activities. Dress as your favorite character and become the ultimate Pokémon Professor.
Are you ready for your greatest Pokémon adventure yet? Sign up today and embark on a scientific quest like no other!

Forms & Resources
Sun Screen Waiver Form
With hot summer temperatures upon us, we’d like to remind you of the extra precautions we take to make sure our campers stay cool and well hydrated. Please take a look at our FAQ page to see our procedures for keeping the kids cool! If you would like us to apply sunscreen, please fill out the waiver form and hand it into the Camp Director on Monday morning.
Summer Camp Planner
Club SciKidz realizes that families are very busy during the summer. With multiple camps and sometimes multiple kids, it can be a real challenge planning and then getting them to all of their summer activities.
How do we stay on top of it all without going crazy!? The easiest solution, we believe, is to send all of your kids to every single week of Club SciKidz Summer Camp. With 42 unique camps, we have something for all of your kids!
However, we know that is not always practical, and that your kids have other interests as well, such as art/sports/etc… So, we have created this simple Summer Camp Planner to help you organize your summers. All you have to do is print it out and put your child’s name up top and then fill-in the rest of their Summer Camp Schedules. This is a great tool to help organize & plan your summers and hopefully give you a little more time to have some time of your own!
Medical Form
The Welcome Packet mentions an ‘Administration of Medicine Form’. If your child requires any medications during the time he/she is at the camp, please download this form and print it, fill in the required information, and bring it with the child on the first day of camp.
